Sticky sweet potato wedges 🍠

This one is a real speedy recipe for when you want an accompaniment to some grilled chicken, steak, fish or roast vegetables, I have even had this with a couple of poached eggs. I put the wedges onto baking parchment so they don’t stick to the baking tray. Adapted from Dr Hazel Wallace - Food Medic for life

Serves 4 - oven 180C

How:

  • Cut 3 x medium sweet potatoes into wedges

Pop in a bowl and toss in the following:

  • tbsp olive oil

  • tbsp maple syrup

  • 1 tsp paprika

  • 1 tsp cumin

  • 1 tsp cinnamon

  • sea salt and black pepper

Bake on tray for around 35 minutes giving a shake halfway.
