Pear and cinnamon overnight oats

After realising I really love the creamy texture of the soft oats and seeds with a crunch of nuts and fruits, I have had a few experiments around flavour combinations.

This version is particularly autumnal with pear and a hint of cinnamon. Added organic whey makes a good high protein breakfast, but this is optional.

Overnight oats are soaked and therefore easier on the digestive system, I really like the convenience of having the oats in the fridge, they can be made in bulk for 2 - 3 days in advance so extremely good for saving time.

Sometimes I heat the oats up before I eat them - they have a creamier texture than porridge but are still just as warming on these cold autumnal days.
